A view into the life of Chick Webb, the amazingly talented, dwarfed and hunchbacked, drummer and bandleader who ran the show at The Savoy Ballroom in Harlem in the early half of the twentieth century. It was with his band at The Savoy that Ella Fitzgerald got her start.
