Hi Badman, , what a glorious review of an American in Paris. Your writing and thinking is amazing! I’m sad that it’s only there through today. Look forward to seeing your review of Moulin Rouge. Although it wasn’t our favorite I really appreciated the invitation and it was great to see you. Let us know when you and Deirdre might be available to do the slideshow of your trip. Of course , no rush. We just don’t want you to forget any details but then again your memory is incredible ! Warm regards, M

A correction: The Ed Burns who is collaborating with David Simon on “The Plot Against America” is not the Edward Burns who directed “The Brothers McMullen.” This Ed Burns is a novelist, screenwriter, ex-cop, and ex-teacher who has been working with Simon since their book and TV series “The Corner” a couple of decades ago.
